Avoid others who are sick

Get a lot of water or other drinks nearby – anything that you’re comfortable to sip on and keep hydrated. Sugary beverages like the age-old Gatorade remedy isn’t always the best solution – opting for water, juice, or tea with lemon and honey is a healthier option. Then, simple over the counter medicines will keep your symptoms at bay. Cough drops to soothe the throat, nasal sprays to counter stuffy nose, painkillers to take the soreness away, and cough syrup to stop the chest-rattling coughs. Supplements like vitamin C, zinc, and echinacea can help you feel better sooner, too!
Get as much rest as you can, eat and drink as needed, and the flu will take care of itself with time.
